Starfish enjoyed a great day on Tuesday to celebrate the beginning of our new topic ‘Seasonal Changes’. The children mixed, kneaded and rolled dough to make cute hedgehog bread rolls. We then started on the big job of making some delicious soup using seasonal vegetables. The children were brilliant at using the safety knives and peelers to chop, peel and slice the vegetables. We then spent the afternoon tasting the warm soup and bread on a cold and wet Autumn afternoon. Perfect! We had a few thumbs up from the children, so overall an enjoyable day!
