.Jellyfish had a wonderful time at the Harbour Beach. They went on a walk to see Verity and looked at a range of different boats that are regularly used on the harbour front. After lunch they built sandcastles and then finished with some observational drawings both on the clipboards and in the sand.

Starfish had a fantastic time exploring all the amazing books at the library. They listened to Cath the Librarian read them a story ' The Bowerbird', played with the huge selections of toys, completed some colouring and learnt about all the brilliant events and clubs the library provides. It was a great trip and the children were very respectful of the other members of the library. Well Done, Starfish! Turtles class enjoyed listening to Cath the Librarian, reading ‘The Runaway Pea Got Washed Away’ and finding out about the events on at the library. They then were able to explore the library and had a fantastic time looking at all the different books.Turtles class had a great time during our Under the Sea engage day. They first used clay and different modelling tools to sculpt their own clay fish, before using oil pastels and brusho to create under water pictures. They then enjoyed a pirate pool party. Jellyfish class had a wonderful engage day. In the morning they used clay and a range of tools to sculpt their own fish, before completing a pirates training course with various obstacles and apparatus. In the afternoon they produced beautiful under the sea pictures using oil pastels and brusho, followed by a fantastic pool party. This week in Starfish we have started a new topic 'Under the Sea'. During our engage day the children had to complete a number of tasks. They completed their pirate training by climbing ropes and balancing while walking the plank. They created fish using clay and produced some beautiful under the sea art work using oil pastels and Brusho. We finished our busy day having lots of fun in the pool and getting the teachers a little wet with the water pistols.
