Last week we looked at how to create different effects to add texture and detail with clay. This week we have used those skills to make our own fish. We have enjoyed our swimming sessions and developing our confidence in the water. We have been looking at moving in different ways through the water and kicking our legs to propel ourselves forward.
Starfish class really enjoyed their teddy bear’s picnic at the Landmark theatre last week. They watched some entertainment then had the chance to practise their own circus skills. We also ate our packed lunches with our teddy bears and said hello to Wooly Bear. Jellyfish enjoyed their Teddy Bears Picnic at the Landmark Theatre this week. They had a packed lunch on the grass, enjoyed some entertainment that they got to try for themselves and met Wooly Bear. It is great to be back in the pool developing our confidence with water. To start off our “Under The Sea” topic we went to Northam Burrows. We went rock pooling on Westward Ho! beach and looked for mini beasts on the burrows. We also enjoyed the aquarium in the visitors centre. We had a great day and managed to dodge most of the showers! To start off our topic of 'Under The Sea' we took a trip to Northam Burrows. We went rock pool rambling on Westward ho! beach, looked for minibeasts on the burrows and explored the aquarium within the visitors centre at the burrows. We had a fabulous day. |
