CSeahorses have been partaking in a range of Chinese New year activities this week. Exploring rice and noodles, creating their own paper dragon and making a Chinese drum out of paper plates.
Jellyfish and Seahorses have been using numicon to help find and record their number bonds to 10.
Jellyfish and seahorses really enjoyed being paleontologists this week. They have sorted through sand to find dinosaur bones and fossils then delicately used a toothbrush or paintbrush to reveal what they have found.
Seahorses class have enjoyed their forest school session today. They have been using both of the swings and took turns with their friends. The children have been playing “The Floor is Lava." They balanced on the logs to walk around the edges of the area. They enjoyed imaginative play with the small world figures and houses as well as hunting for acorns in between the leaves.
