Jellyfish children singing Spring Chicken ready for Easter. 

Jellyfish continued to develop the tuck, straight, pike and star shapes in a range of ways such as jumps, rolls and stands during their gymnastic session. 

Starfish made repeating patterns in their outdoor learning session this week using natural resources. 

Seahorses have been using a range of skills and tools to create their own standing beanstalk for Jack to climb. 

Seahorses have been developing their tennis skills. 

In outdoor learning this week Starfish class focussed their learning on the number 10. They wrote the number 10 in the mud with sticks, made 10 muddy handprints on the fence and collected 10 items before counting them. They also enjoyed jumping in the big muddy puddles and transporting the mud using different containers. 

Jellyfish children used plasticine to make a model of The Wolf from the story of Little Red Riding Hood. We focussed on rolling, pinching and shaping the plasticine. 

Seahorses class have been practising a range of skills in their Multi-skills session. 

​In PE this week Starfish practised a variety of skills including throwing and catching a ball and jumping with two feet together over hurdles. They also used dribbling skills to move the football around the ‘islands’ with their feet and practised their aiming by throwing beanbags into the correct coloured hoop. 

Jellyfish have thoroughly enjoyed their outdoor learning session this week. They made mud pies, created their own dens and built their own camping site.
