Woodpeckers - Diwali

Woodpeckers have explored why Diwali is celebrated as a festival. We have created pieces of artwork which include temples, diya lamps, fireworks and rangoli patterns using tissues paper, pastels and metallic pens. We also made diva lamps from clay, looking carefully at the shape and adding detail with tools before writing about why Diwali is celebrated by Hindus.
