This week we used the balancing scales and weights to make 'shark food'. 

Kingfishers had a very exciting day visiting the National Marine Aquarium, where we were given a guided tour of the tanks and invented a new species of sea creature.  

Swans loved their visit to the National Marine Aquarium. We saw many different sea creatures including a sea turtle called Friday! We then used what we know about adaptation to design our own sea creature. 

For our Deep Sea Discoveries engage day we looked at different creatures who are found in the depths of the ocean. We drew some of these, painted them on rocks, created a moving picture based on the Julia Donaldson book ‘The Snail and the Whale’ and painted what we would see if we looked up from the bottom of the ocean.
