Chinese New Year - Woodpeckers

This week we have been celebrating Chinese New Year.   We have found out that this year, 2023, is the Year of the Rabbit.   We have written about how Chinese New Year is celebrated, we drew the word ‘rabbit’ in Chinese characters, painted a rabbit on to the traditional colour red and finally we enjoyed weaving a lantern.   What a lively, exciting and lucky celebration day!!
