Fire Dragon Lava Lamps

The class carried out a Fire Dragon investigation. We made our own bubbling lava lamps. First we mixed water and red food colouring together. Then we added oil, with the oil floating on top of the water. We then dropped in some bubbling Vitamin C tablets and watched what happened. We drew and wrote up what we saw in our science books.
