Diwali Celebrations

This week Elephants have been learning about Diwali in RE.   We visited the Plough Arts Centre in Torrington to watch a play about Diwali called Rhia and the Tree of Lights.   Back in the classroom we continued our learning of Diwali and we designed, drew and painted our own Mehndi  hand patterns, Rangoli patterns and Diva Lamps to celebrate 'The Festival of Lights'.
