To Infinity and Beyond

Seahorses class enjoyed their engage day this week. We had a message to watch a video which showed a spaceship crashing onto the school site! We went out to investigate and found a jet pack, lots of slime and bags of food spread around - we wonder who could have been in the spacecraft.
We also visited the planetarium where we learned about the earth rotating around the sun and how it is night in one half of the world when it is day  in the other half. We saw the North Pole star which always shines in the north and heard the story of Orion the Hunter and saw his shape in the stars. 
We ended the day by ordering our planets into the solar system.
