The children had a fantastic engage day being immersed in all things Rio! The children made Brazilian flags as they arrived to school before learning about where Rio de Janeiro is and what it is like there. They did some samba dancing and then met with an artist who showed them how to make decorations used in the Rio carnival. After lunch the children took part in a drumming workshop. All the classes joined together to create a carnival on the bottom playground. The children danced around wearing their headbands and waving their flags and decorations. A brilliant time was had by all.
