Growing and building

We have been learning about growing plants.  We used the stories "The Three Billy Goats Gruff" and "Jack and the Beanstalk" to extend the children's skills using blocks, to make bridges and castles. The children have loved these stories and have been joining in with the repeated refrains and used the language in their play.
