We learnt about what food comes from plants and which part of the plants we eat by taking part in the ‘Fantastic Food’ workshop. We explored the vegetable garden looking for different vegetable and fruit plants and finished our day with a play in the play area.

Swans were immersed into their new topic for this half term by becoming history detectives and using clues to find out about The Great Fire of London. They also made bakers hats and made bread rolls just like the baker would have done in his bakery on Pudding Lane in 1666. Swans enjoyed learning about the festival of Diwali through making coconut barfi to share with their families, manipulating clay to make a diva lamp and creating temple artwork. |
