The children investigated three different types of animal waste: One from a herbivore, one from an omnivore and one from a carnivore. They then predicted what animal may have produced each ‘poo’. This week, Swans Class have been learning about food chains. To do so, they investigated different animal's pretend 'poo' to find clues as to what sort of animal they were - herbivore, carnivore or omnivore. The children collected autumn leaves to inspire their artwork. They explored observational drawing techniques and experimental mark making of leaves, followed by an immersive exploration of colour and scale using wax crayons and Brusho powder paint. |
