Chinese New Year - Giraffes

The children had a fabulous day celebrating Chinese New Year as a whole school. In Giraffes we have read stories and watched videos on how it is celebrated and wrote about it. We painted horses, as it is the year of the horse, with Chinese inspired brush strokes. We also had a go at writing some Chinese symbols to record our names or inspirational words.
