The children have been learning and writing about the lifecycles of frogs, beans and ducks by watching the changes to our tadpoles, plants and ducklings. They have been talking about the human life cycle too, and we loved seeing their own baby photos.
They are also learning about new life and the symbols of Easter and they enjoyed making an Easter garden.
They have used different methods to make beautiful Spring flower artwork. 

The last two weeks we have been looking at how things grow. We have planted some grass seeds, carrots, beans and potatoes. We will be keeping a diary to see how the plants change over time. It was lovely to be outside in the sun!

Turtles had great fun creating lanterns, making noodles and playing in the chinese restaurant. 

The children learned about the Hindu festival of colour. They printed colourful handprints and sprinkled on powder paint. They also danced to Indian music- waving and  throwing pom poms and scarves in the air to replicate the colourful scenes!
